What is Funding Rate?
Funding Rate, a periodic payment between longs and shorts in perpetual futures. Positive means longs pay shorts, negative means the reverse. It keeps the futures price close to spot.

Funding of +0.01% every 8h → a $1,000 long pays about $0.10.
